These are photos of icebergs in St. Anthony and L'Anse aux Meadows area....starting with a Vinland Martini (bakeapple and partridgeberry - with a piece of iceberg ice...).
keep writing! I have to be in corner brook during the spring for two months and was worried that there might not be that many things to do around the city .. but now I cant wait!!
Spring - depending on when you are here - might be snowy. But there is still stuff to do. The icebergs tend to arrive in July/August. What you read here is a year's worth of blog. Corner Brook is a small city - about 23,000 people, but we have all the usual malls and stores, movie theatre, restaurants, the park - and Gros Morne and the tablelands (if the driving is decent) are about an hour and 15 minutes north, Lark Harbour 45 minutes near the Gulf of St. Lawrence.
